HTAL is fully operated by volunteers – people like you with enthusiasm, interest in community support, some free time, and who are passionate about lifelong learning. Board of Directors
The HTAL working Board oversees all matters related to the mission, vision, strategy, direction and management of HTAL operations. The Board meets about once per month. All Board members participate on at least one committee and are active participants in the lecture series.

Program Committee
The Program Committee develops programs, seeks and recruits excellent local and distant speakers, and works with the other committees to market and run the events. Your networking skills will be well suited to work on this committee.

Event Production and Venue Management
This committee ensures that the venue requirements are fulfilled and that the necessary technology is in place to ensure quality recordings for distribution to the paid registrants and techie skills talents are very welcome.

Marketing and Engagement
This committee develops press releases, community promotions, provides interviews and enhances community outreach to market the lecture series and build engagement for our participants. This committee supports the check-in process for each lecture and provides a warm welcome.

Registration and Web Management
This committee develops and operates processes for online registration, in person check-in procedures, registration and subscriber data management, and website content updates.
